We are very excited about our upcoming Paws for Books book fair. We will start previewing at the end of next week and start selling on the week of January 29th-February 2nd. We will be open during Brenham Elementary's Literacy & Math Family Night from 5- 7PM on Tuesday, January 30th.
Students have been enjoying some Holiday STEM activities in our library this week. I am impressed with their ability to create and learn new things this week. We even had a crackling fire with Holiday music playing. Who doesn't love reading by a fire! We love our readers and can't wait to see them back in January.
We have started with a new crop of 20 books for the 2017-2018 Bluebonnet Award. Remember you need to read 5 books to qualify to vote for your favorite in January 2018. We are planning something new and special this year if you qualify to vote. If you read 5 books you will also get to attend our Bluebonnet Breakfast in February!
Check out the new 2017-2018 Bluebonnet Books We are busy getting things ready for you in the library at Brenham Elementary. You have a new librarian, Mrs. Polk that will be on our campus along with Mrs. Kuecker. Things will also be different in that you will come to the library and your teacher will come with you. We are excited about all the possibilities of things we can do this year in the library.
